    Re: Overclocking E7200 with P5K

Same concern that overclocking on P5KPL-VM with G31 chipset. I can not find in bios where to change the voltage of the CPU or RAM. So I am limited in overclocking an E5200 to 3 Ghz (240 * 12.5). i have tried with some application but there is no use of that . Is there any way to unlock hidden features bios ? also i ask to my friends but no one knows please tell some on know

    Re: Overclocking E7200 with P5K

The E7200 is a good processor, it is not easy to get an idea of its potential overclock but some have had good results. For a change of motherboard try to update bios because mostly while overclocking with updating bios is first step , and by updating bios may be you will get solution for your problem. normally bios is locked for armature users so with update bios they provide some more features.

    - Intel (R) SpeedStep (TM) Tech. : Disable

    Ai Overclock Tuner: Manual
    CPU Ratio Setting: 9.5
    FSB Frequency: 337 (CPU Ratio Setting x FSB Frequency: 9.5 x 337 = 3.2ghz)
FSB Strap to North Bridge: 333MHz
    PCIE Frequency: 101

DRAM Frequency: the lowest (value rises along with the FSB)
    DRAM Command Rate: 2T
    DRAM timming Control: manual
Primary Info: 5-5-5-15-3-42-6-3 (this value is that I have in my bios it can be different, you touch it)

    I have the same motherboard,
    Name of the motherboard Asus P5K/EPU (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)

I know change the V-core with the numeric keypad, Finally when I enter I have no table opens

    with the 0604 bios
    System BIOS Date 06/19/08
    BIOS Version 0604

    Re: Overclocking E7200 with P5K

I have pushed my 3.17Ghz processor by testing with CPU-Z and SetFSB and pushing the FSB from 266 to 333. Moreover I have absolutely nothing else but hit the FSB in the BIOS.

I want to know how to continue to Overclock my CPU a little knowing that the Vcore is on automatic, my multiplier adjusts automatically depending on CPU usage and I adjusted the timings of my memory modules 4-4-4 -12 (initially 5-5-5-15)
