You can overclocked with clockgen, set the CPU frequency to 2.2 GHz (FSB 133) and gradually change, you can not exceed 3.0 Ghz simply if you dont like to touch the vCore in the bios of asus A8V-X

your 3700 is 2.2ghz original, since You can change the vCore with Windows Clockgen,Tests to find the max of your CPU, your max FSB and your RAM.The ClockGen series consists in a set of overclocking programes, each of them being dedicated to one or several mainboards.A ClockGen software allow to dynamically overclock several devices of your system : CPU, memory, AGP and PCI bus.

The vCore is at 1.45 v for me 3000MHz, you withdrew Cool & quiet and secure AGP / PCI , without timing of your RAM and go to the bios CPU. so use benchmark to test first..
