AMD Athlon X2 4850e passively cool?

    hi,
i have Cooler Master Sileo 500 black (RC-500-KKN1-GP).I want computer to work in order to optimize the noise. But the crucial issue is: What CPU cooler would be needed, in order to maximize passive cooling? Overclocking is not an issue, It worth investing in a correspondingly expensive giant tower coolers or would a more typical model, because BOINC, a minimum ventilation is inevitable?

    hi,
There are many good passive cooler like cooler Master Hyper Z600 or Thermalright SI-128 SE Heatsink. When you select from the housing and good ventilation (Airflow), as this part fits very well with your X2 4850e.

So between the passive properties of the Hyper Z600 and the other two proposed in coolers are even small worlds. Of course you can even have a passive cooler Boxed-operate.

Therefore, the Hyper Z600 was my first choice! But the other two coolers are suitable for a passive X2 4850e.
