    Overclocking gives no difference

Encountered problems now that never happened before when I have a ovarclock. Went into bios and raised fsb...say from 266 to 270. Multiplier is 9. Saved the settings, the computer starts and when I come to the windows and upload the CPU-z, it is still 266. Hell am I thinking, of course. Tried to reset bios and tried everything again but no difference. Ideas?

and yes eist speed step is disabled...

    Re: Overclocking gives no difference

Sad answer: have you checked with a test such as super-pi, the processor performs the same as before?

Run 1m first in the original overclock. If there is no difference, you must troubleshoot.
