    An over-XPS 420 (Q6600)

I have a second Dell computer with original parts in, with the following contents:

    Processor: Q6600
    Ram: 4x1GB
    Graphics: 8800GT

BIOS seems somewhat limited, which I can understand. But anyone know if there are any potential overclocking opportunities for an old servant?

You can do BSEL courage. It affects the guarantee. Or you can buy a new motherboard.

I have no idea what "BSEL" is for something, but I guess I may be googling around a bit.

Just remember that you lose all warranty on all parts of your computer if you replace the motherboard, so there is no good alternative.

I would certainly prefer to change the motherboard than to try their hand at BSEL-mod on a Q6600. A new motherboard does not need to cost too much for example a P5K Premium / wifi for comes at a good price.

If the computers guarantee was expired, I would have asked to change the motherboard. But the comp is still in the guarantee it is hardly worth losing the warranty on all components of the computer as he does when changing motherboard and not the computer.
