Modifying my PC

I want recommendation on which type of video card should i buy between ATI and that the GeForce anden. I had earlier given thought for the HD3870 ATI, but after reading in several forums saw that ATI is cheaper but inferior quality.

I also have to change the processor and motherboard. In terms of a Quad Processor core, I personally would like a Phenom AMD, but some of my friends recommended an intel (which they consider is better quality) and the motherboard, that is the micro.

My budget, varies in terms of my desire to purchase. Hope to listen from you people about any suggestions. Thanks.

On what basis you decided is what many would feel. If you had the PC ROY Fokker, could not get the 100% the video card that put him, and you said that the HD3870 are of lesser quality. Quad Core GARCH ??????? How can you say it is a GARCH? It is more than obvious that a QC is more oriented to the editing of video / audio, games and pays very well.
