Cannot reset DSRM password

I am having an issue when I try to reset the DSRM password to perform an authoritative restore. After inputting the new password, I get and error stating "Invalid access to memory location". Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link, however, I am running a 32 bit version of Server 2003 so I am not sure that this applies in this case.
