How to fix Interval Since Last Panic Report Message on Mac OS X?

well I am getting below mentioned error message whenever I shutting dwon or restart the computer.

I was using Time Machine in order to backup the external Drive.
Can you tell me why it is happening?
Any help to resolve the matter will be appreciated?

Usually Kernel Panic attack supposed to be caused by some kind of hardware problems. It could be happening because of faulty memory or hard drive failure. If you are having original system discs with you then you should simply run Apple Hardware test in extended mode. In case your machine is shipped with Mac OS X Lion then you will not have any install disc.

Well I was also facing the same issue which you have stated over here. I found that external disk was causing the trouble. I have also seen kernel panics because of corrupted Time Machine drive.

If you are having original disc then I recommend that you should go for Utilities and look for Disk Utility. From there you have to run Repair Disk on internal then external. After doing the same let me know what results do you getting.
In case it does not work for you then you have to wait till apple release any future software update.
