Every time when i plug in USB device at that time windows 7 try to format it

From last some days I am experiencing strange problem in my computer. Whenever I plug in USB device in my computer at that time windows 7 says file system isn't recognized and that it needs to reformat them to NTFS. I don’t know what is wrong but this problem has started suddenly. If anyone has solution regarding this then please help me.

I will suggest you to first check whether you are able to use the USB device with other computer or not. you have to connect the USB device with other computer and then check whether you are able to read the data from that computer or not. if you are able to read the data from other computer that I think problem is with your computer and if you get the same problem with other machine also then problem is with the USB device.

Have you checked whether you are able to access the USB DEVICE ion the disk management or not. if you have not checked then first open the disk management in your computer and then you have to check whether you are able see the USB driver there or not. if you are able to access the USB drive in the disk management then you should connect the drive with other laptop or computer and then you have to copy all the data and then format the drive. Now after that you have to insert the device in your computer and then check whether it works properly or not. as far as I know this solution will be helpful for you.

If you don’t know about how to check USB device in the disk management then you have to do following steps. First you have to right click on my computer icon in your computer and then you have to click on the manage option. Now after clicking on the manage option one window will open. Now you have to select the click on the storage option and under the storage you will find the disk management option. now after that check whether your USB drive is listed there or not. if it is listed then you have to format it after taking the backup of your data.

According to me problem is related to the USB drivers and that is why I would like to tell you that you should uninstall the USB drivers from your computer and removing the USB drivers you have to restart the PC and then you have to install the USB drivers again then connect the USB device and check whether problem get solved or not.

I have connected my USB device with other computer and it is working absolutely fine with other computer and after that I have connected the USB device with my computer and then I have open the disk management in my computer and I was not able to see the USB device there. Now please tell me how to solve this issue, is there anything wrong with my operating system?

Yes it looks like problem is with your operating system and that is why I will suggest you to insert the operating system CD in your computer and then you have to repair the operating system and after repairing the operating system you have to insert the USB device in your computer again and then check whether it makes any difference or not.

As far as I know after repairing the operating system your problem will get solved.

If repairing the OS does not help you to solve this problem then you have to first take the backup of all the data from your computer and then you have to install the fresh copy of the windows 7 and then you have to also install all the necessary drivers and after installing all the necessary drivers you have to check whether you are able to use the USB device properly or not.

I think after installing the fresh copy of windows 7 in your computer when you use the USB device at that time you will not face any problem and everything will start working normally.

Well I have repaired the OS but then also I was facing the same problem. Now after that I have also tried to solve this problem taking the back up of all the data and the installing the fresh copy of the windows 7 and after installing the windows 7 again all the problem get solved.
