Getting blue screen of Death in Windows 8

I have recently got Windows 8 as my operating system and I surprisingly got a error when I checked out for it I cane that it is called “blue screen of Death” .I never imagined that a error will look like this but after this I think that even windows 8 is just not immune to crashing .I think that the people who don’t know to decipher this blue screen of Death will be just hating it but I will say that the error appears to be less frightening due to its blue soothing color. I was really surprised to see a face emotion followed by a message saying "Your PC ran into a problem that it couldn't handle, and now it needs to restart." So I just wanted to ask you all that is it appearing better to you all who have came across or you all are simply hating the concept.

Yes I have came across and what I have found is that you can very well search the error online: [error] and I really appreciate Microsoft for coming with this kind of concept and have really helped people one step further in order to diagnose a BSOD(blue screen of Death) .Previously the error names were an issue and the error were caused by a no of symptoms and the same symptoms even resulted in multiple issues but now I think that the BSOD is better than the Mac OS X's implementation. I really liked the concept where you get a message saying "Your computer has crashed, time to restart!" and all.

I am actually not hating it but then I think that it would have been a bit better if they would have given us a simpler and user friendly way of showing the error I mean messages like “Your cpu has found some error” and a detail of that error as well rather than giving this BSOD.I think that this error appear to be a bit ambiguous and we really need a better concept to present error code in order to understand it and then try to solve it as well.

I think the concept of the BSOD is kind of same to that of the predicesor minus which use to pop up with smooth text and emotions. I had come across such type of error for the first time when I was trying to boot the CD while installing it on my machine. It said that "You can search for the error online: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (storachi.sys)" and when I went online then It said me to change the virtual hard drive using a SATA Controller in AHCI mode to IDE Controller in order to solve the error. I think that there will be some more type of BSOD's and the emotion and the color really does not make it look like an error.

Yes even I have been getting this BSOD after I have installed a no of applications and games on windows 8.I was surprised to see it for the first time but then now days it has been appearing for quite a no of time every day and I am hating it now. I have tried resolving then and have resolved a no of them as well but I am not able to solve some of them. I was not facing any kind of problem when I was having the same applications and game in windows 7.I don’t know what is going wrong with the windows 8 though these applications and games appear to be compatible with win 8.

I will suggest you to note the error that you are getting on the screen and then upload it here so we could probably try to help you with it. Try to upload the DMP file as they give a detail record which lead to the crash if you are not able to get them in the normal mode then you can try to get them by going in the safe mode with networking. What you have to do is just Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to some other location and then try to upload the new DMPs. Try to Zip the copy and then Attach the ZIP archive but if the file is large then you can upload them using "Rapidshare". Hope that helps.

But before that you need to enable the minidumps. In order to enable them just follow the below steps:
    • Just Go to Start and type “sysdm.cpl” in the search box and then press enter.
    • Then in the Advanced tab just click on the Startup and then go in to the Recovery Settings
    • Make sure that you uncheck the automatically restart option.
    • Then below the Debugging Information header choose Small memory dump (256 kB)
    • Make sure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    • After you make the changes just reboot.

Yes even I feel that the blue screen is actually not giving actual error message on the screen and I am really hating the part where it is counting for the reboot. I have already tried to reinstall and it reboot it for a no of times but they did not seem to be helping and I am really not able to actually troubleshoot the problem as I am having default option to automatically reboot as well because of which I am not able to read the BSOD.Is there any other solution to solve this out.
