Unable to access NFS, CIFS shares in Mac OS X Lion

All people having difficulty to access the network shares; NAS, etc. seem related to the Finder. I've been able to access these devices through the use of alternatives products Finder (search path, forklifts) that this should not be a trouble as reported protocol for a few months, it seems the Finder.

To my knowledge, has nothing to do with the Finder. Apple replaced its own Samba SMB network layer and the change is what has caused all the troubles with SMB servers. NAS troubles were caused by Apple disable older, insecure protocols AFP. NAS Part 3 manufacturers were surprised by this change, since Apple only nine years gave notice of the change. I have not heard of any problems with NFS.

Because you can use alternative browsers to access these files, it shows that this issue is not only SMB reported. These other products still have to use Apple protocols for Tehran something in the same search that creates certain problems permission. There are other threads here where people have experimented with putting the computer to sleep and observe different results in terms of folders / files spark can access the system.

Your first step should be to explain exactly what these troubles and citing any evidence that they exist.

Although permissions may show troubles, you still have access appropriate as originally set the permissions on NAS. This has happened since Lion has been in beta and not yet resolved. If it changes the underlying protocols that relate to, you have the documentation that all these products using their own version of these protocols?

If the NAS reports that it has permissions to access the folder, then the browser is the only one that behaves correctly. If any other tool tells you not have permissions, but then allows you to access it anyway, whether the tool of another party or the permissions of the NAS (or both) are screwed up.

NAS permissions are correct and have not changed since Leopard / Snow Leopard and provide R / W / E access. Only the Finder cannot get into these files where as you can do it through Windows, UNIX and any product Finder alternative. If you insist that is not the search, please provide backup and qualifications or to evaluate this. The NAS works well everywhere and these tools are fairly third to date, reliable and does not show other abnormalities that suggest there are troubles then.

You say that the permissions are correct and NAS provide R / W / E access. Both the report of the Finder and Path Finder you do not have read access. Finder doesn’t attempt to try. Path Finder anyway and apparently gets through.

My conclusion: NAS is superbly hose. If you want to dispute my results, you need to start by explaining: NAS makes all this is the protocol that you are actually trying

In curiosity, what is your experience that can determine the NAS is a hose, because it is new and the manufacturer does not seem to feel this (okay, not instantly admit failure). Moreover, as there are plenty of similar cases around Google, I'm not sure why this would be the culprit.
