Administrator locked

Hello please can anybody help me? My daughters laptop is hp nc4000! I dont know what happened, tried to boot from cd a screen came up with the word administrtor lock and i tried severally it came same story and tried again to see if i can go to the BIOS settings" at the down of the screen it says entrying mode and at the middle it says administrator lock" please could anyone help with the problem. thanks madaki.

Have you logged in with the admin account or any limited account. If you have logged in other than the admin account then this is for sure that you will get that message. So make sure that you are with the admin account or you have proper privilege to perform that action.

Thanks for the concern! I was able to solve the problem by reseting the CMOS.
