Error message “26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEV064C98683” while opening control panel

Hello I have installed the windows XP operating system on mine system and everything on the system working fine without any issue but last night when I tried to open the control panel I have got the error message saying that:” 26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEV064C98683” and now I am not able to open the control panel. I have tried the lots of solution to get ride the issue but nothing helped me to solve mine issue. Now I don’t what to do and how to get ride the issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

I have faced this issue and after that I have gone through the below steps and after that I have solved mine issue. To do this press the windows key and R key on the key board and after that you will get the run application. Now on the run application type: regedit and after that click on the ok button. Now you will get the Windows Registry windows and under that locate to the below location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER /Software /Microsoft /Windows /CurrentVersion /Policies /Explorer

Once you locate to this place and after that make right click on the NoControlPanel key under this and after that select the set the value. Now on the value data must be 0(zero). Now once you finish this and after that do this same steps on the below location as well:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /Software /Microsoft /Windows /CurrentVersion /Policies /Explorer

Once you finish the searching and after that rename the all .cpl file which is located at Windows\System folder. Now once you finish the renaming and after that reboot the system for better result.
