Unable to install Windows XP on 1TB hard drive

I'm having an problem with new Seagate 1 Terabyte Hard drive. When I try to install Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 operating system on it then it cannot detect the drive. The BIOS notice this drive as 1TB however when i start the install XP SP2 process then it not works. The installation goes failure at most of the time. I need the complete solution to do this complicated task. Any type of help or suggestions will be appreciated.

I think this is the BIOS problem. Actually the BIOS of the system can’t capable to recognize the size of the hard drive. The reason behind this is that the size of the drive is too large. Most of the time, BIOS would not capable to identify the larger drives that is available inside the system. Then I suggest you to update the BIOS of the system. This will work to solve problem.
