how to activate windows XP for dual port

Hi there I am having a PC with windows XP pro from the last six years ,but now the motherboard was changed .the replaced one is a 64 bit version of 7 pro in it which is not allowing me to run some usefull programs and hardware to run properly on it. For that I have been using Paragon's Hard Disk Manager 2011 with dual port scenario and now Xp need activation.as now XP was OEM with the old version now XP says that your copy is not legal and by telephone that the OEM license does not permit the use my XP program on anything other that the original computer on which it was installed . I looked on e-bay and there are different range of OEM so I don’t know what to do so if nay one can help me out in this.

One reason is that the XP laying on your computer- these have OEM different versions. Such a copy is legally tied to the original computer in which it is first installed and cannot be copied to a new machine. So even when you reboot you will have the activation on the same computer without any problem these copies does activate offline since long as they are on the same computer. So as you have changed the motherboard the serial number changes and there might be a problem with the activation

As ebay OEM disks would subsist System builder OEM copy- these are comparable to sell copies other than cannot be legally moved on or after the first computer they are installed on. They be cheap since MS support is not bundled with them. "brand new with a piece of original hardware" might mean with the intention of the copy has by no means been activated before, the original hardware part is probably present because this version was only to be sold installed on a whitebox

AS Ebay is better known as "trick bay" they provide you with some used softwares so you get to bargain on those things so it is better you try to stay away from it The only time this kind of purchase might possibly labor is if you buy a full retail copy of the OS and still after that you will be full of to activate by phone saying you've got a NEW computer and you will get to know that is MS going to activate ite copy or not. If it's not the original DVD but a "Copy" probability are so as to this has by now been activated moreover many times and will be blacklisted by MS.

As a solution you can use the windows program compatibility of windows 7 as it is having several built-in-tools and the Windows XP programs should be installed directly on Windows 7. As Windows XP Mode run a lot of elder Windows XP output programs and so as to are not natively well-matched with Windows 7,thus helping you finding a good solution for you and possibly saving cost and reduce possible operational downtime by extending the life of accessible software
