    Exclamation File: \Boot\BCD Status 0xc000000f

    Hello all!
    Nice to meet you all!

So now I have messed up my Windows.

First, my Drive C said that it was full, so I tried deleting stuff from it. I tried seeing how much memory my files occupied and it came up to 20 GB when I had 30 GB space left to use. I have a total of 50 GB on that. So I restored a previous version of Drive C and deleted some files, started Disk Defragmenter and so on. I rebooted my computer but my laptop started displaying,
    "File: \Boot\BCD
    Status 0xc000000f"

I tried rebooting from my disk but my laptop didn't detect the disk I had inserted. I then changed the BIOS Boot Order according to some information I had found on some sites. I did my research first, of course.

But it still isn't detecting the disk and my laptop is not starting up. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Have you tried the Startup Repair with a Windows 7 disk if needed and run SFC /scannow from Safe Mode, a Windows 7 disk boot, or recovery console. If you need a Windows 7 disk and do not have one borrow a friend's as they are not copy protected. And your system maker will sell them to you cheap since you already own windows.

That page doesn't open. I don't have the option to start it in Safe Mode. I tried rebooting. Tried re-installing. Nothing works. I called Tech Support for my laptop so they said that I will have to take mine to the service centre.

Um. It's in warranty though... That being said, any tips for Data Recovery??? I will undoubtedly need some cause they are most probably going to format my whole laptop and there are about 300 GB that I hadn't gotten the chance to back up. Sheer idiocy on my part. :/

Have you created some sort of ntfs partition if yes then i would recommend you to use the NTFS Data Recovery Software. even DDR Professional Data Recovery Software is also a good option for you. So better look out for the data recovery software that will be a lot of help for you, so i support your decision to show it to the service center that will e of good help for you.

I didn't put in any partition after I got my laptop. The ones that were done, were done by the dealers. Just the standard "Drive C", "Drive D" and "Drive E". It was NTFS though. Except for D. That was something else....

    Thank you anyway. )
Do you have any other suggestions for Data Recovery programs?
