I have read your problem as you are not able to use the WIFI in your laptop after installing the Windows xp in your system. That is why I would like to tell you that if you are using UBUNTU in your system then your WIFI router will having the setting according to that that is why I suggest you to change the setting according to windows Xp and after that try to connect the WIFI again with your laptop. Make sure you are inserting the right password which you have set.

I have gone through your post and as you have said that you are not able to use the WIFI that is why I suggest you to enable the WIFI first from your laptop. First go to my computer and then go to its properties. Now click on the device manager tab. After that click on the wireless option and after that enable it. After enabling the WIFI you have to restart the laptop. now after doing that you will be able to use the WIF. I hope thi trick will fix your issue.

If you are still getting the same problem after trying the above tricks then I think you should try to connect your laptop with some different router. If you are able to connect the WIFI with different router then I think there some setting in your laptop but same problem is coming there then I think your router Is having some issue. First check the exact problem by trying this trick after that you will not come to know about exact problem and then you can find the solution according to that.

I think you should try this thing to solve your issue. First uninstall the drivers from your laptop. After that search on the internet for the driver which support windows XP. If three are any updates available on internet then download it. After downloading that install in your system and then restarts your laptop. After restarting the laptop try to connect your WIFI with your router. After doing that trick you will be able to use the WIFI in your laptop.

If you are not able to solve the problem then I have one solution. I was also facing the similar kind of problem with my laptop and after that I repaired my windows XP with the help of Windows XP bootable disk. After repairing that I am not getting any problem with my WIFI and I am able to use it normally. I think this trick will solve your problem and you will be able to use the WIFI again in your laptop. Just try this solution and let me know whether this trick worked for you or not?

Re: Unable to use wireless after Switching From Ubuntu to windows XP

After reading your post I have searched the drivers update on the internet and after that I downloaded that in my system. After downloading the driver I have installed that in my system but it didn’t make any difference for me. After that I use my bootable disk and with the help of it I repaired my operating system. After doing that my system is running perfectly and I am not facing any problem with my system. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.
