Is it true that Mac OS X about to drop Java

Later than the butt heading with Flash, am I seeing Apple dropping Java from its future OS edition? As I just see this news or information on some websites and I just want to know more about this. So, is it true or its fact that Mac OS X about to drop Java? I really not understand or really don’t have any idea on this. So please if anyone here has any idea or any information on this than please let me know or share with me. Thanking you.

Re: Is it true that Mac OS X about to drop Java

As of the release of Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 3, the Java runtime docked by Apple and that transport with Mac OS X is denounced. Developers should not rely on the Apple-supplied Java runtime being there in future editions of Mac OS X. The Java runtime transport in Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, will persist to be supported and sustained through the typical support cycles of those products.

Java Preferences currently illustrates all exposed JVMs in a solitary list in the General tab. This list illustrates the name, vendor, architecture, and complete edition of every JVM. It as well coalesces manifold versions of the similar major platform version from the similar seller and architecture into the similar line. Clicking on the edition at the end of the line illustrates a popup menu that selects between these numerous versions.

Here I just want to add something in this case. Not actually on all counts. The short edition of this is that while OS X will no longer transport with a version of Java, it will probably be obtainable through Oracle. Java is actually representative of a contestant platform to them currently seeing as how it is the language of alternative for Android, in spite of the lawful battles surrounding that at the present time.

The Java part of the Trojan horse is multi-platform, and comprises additional files that affect Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. There have been information of similar activities in recent Trojan horses target Microsoft Windows, but have not integrated cross-platform capabilities, up to now. The Trojan tries to conceal their Internet communications and actions via obfuscated code spread across several files, and attempts to contact added command servers if the primary servers are occupied.
