Why does a window 7 create hidden partition?

Last month I have purchased the new branded HP laptop. The configuration of this laptop is Intel core 2 Duo processor with the 4GB DDR3 RAM and 500GB hard Disk. I bought this laptop with the windows vista operating system. But this operating system have worked very well so, I have uninstall this operating system and now install the windows 7 operating system. At the time of windows 7 installations I have realized that there is an extra partition created in the hard disk and the size of this partition is very less which is near about 100MB. Why windows 7 create this hidden partition? Any help would be appreciates.

The hidden partition you do not about is to be the most important partitions of the hard disk. This hidden partition helps the operating system for collecting the address locations of the hard disk. The hidden partition of the hard disk holds the MBR that is Master Boot Record. It contains all the clustered information of the hard disk. Every memory locations of the hard disk will store into this hard disk. This is the most important partitions of the hard disk and hence it will not display on the My Computer.

Hey I also don’t know about this hidden partition. As per my thinking this hidden partitions have the special rights to holds the addresses of all the data presents in the hard disk. Because the other viewed partitions will be only holds the specific type of data. Yesterday I have installed the Microsoft windows 7 operating system on the system. That time I have knows this hidden partitions and that time I had try to delete this hidden partition. But it will not delete or formatted. So, may be this hidden partitions holds some important data of the hard disk.

The hidden partition you can talk is the most important partition of the hard disk. This partitions store the information of the hard disk size, its capability and the number of track and sector presents in the hard disk. This hidden partition holds the MBR that is Master Boot Record. As the name suggests this MBR is master of the all booting process and it always check whenever the system starts the booting process. This is most partitions and hence it is hidden from the user prospective.

I also faced the same kind of problem and I want to collect some information about this hidden partition. As all I read before this conversation, I think this hidden partition holds the information about MBR and it contain all the information about cluster, cylinder and number of tracks presents in the system. This hidden partition is always hidden form the user prospective it means user can’t access this hidden partition data. The data presents in the hidden partition can be restoring by using only one technique. That is newly creates the partitions of the hard disk.
