While installing windows 7 an error 0x800f0826 is been occurred

Hello friends, I am facing some error in installing windows 7 service pack 1 in the laptop of mine, I had to format my laptop because of the presence of the virus in it, as I was trying to install the operating system, I was getting error and it was the 0x800f0826 in it. I also tried to clean the registry and also did the driver sweep but it was not helping me in getting the error fix in it, so I am here to get some help from you guys which I know that you will not let me down in it. The previous version of the operating system was windows xp.

Hello there, I had a similar issue in the problem in installing the windows 7 with the service pack1, when I tried to install the operating system, I was facing the error, but as I un install the version of the windows and I retried it, the thing was not happened again, as I seen that when I did the updating of the service pack 1 I started running the System update readiness tool and received no error with respect to this but some other was been showing now, which was different from the other.

Hello there, I was having this kind of problem in the laptop of mine, as I had done the driver backup of the system it was of no use as the driver sweep contain only the AMD/Nvidia Microsoft drivers and most of the thing got deleted by using many of the tool, if there is any of the corrupt thing present in the driver then it would be not fix by it. For example, there was a missing driver and after that I found out that for some of the reason there were two .dll files which were corrupt in the winsxs directory, when I replaced the files manually in the directory the entire problem got set properly.

Hello there, I think I am in the correct section, to provide the solution that you people are posting and also you are looking for, I was also facing the issue in the computer of mine, as the driver that I was using was not proper, the only way to come out of this is to run the command prompt with an administrative rights and then you run Sfs/scannow. In this the error will be detected if any of the is present in this, if it report any of the error then log it into CBS.log file under the path of C:\Windows\Logs here the most of the error will be resolved.

Hey thanks for the solution that you have provided to me as it was the best solution that you have provided, now I have tried all the solution that I am facing in this thing, it was really a big problem that I was facing and I was not able to come out from this thing, now as you have provided with the solution I will surely try all this thing to come out from this. Since this problem was created for a long time I have to see that where did I stopped the thing .
