should I Buy i7-980X now or wait?

I actually require a new computer. I was thinking to purchase one with an i7-980X six-core Extreme Edition. I know it is too much and overpriced, but I always purchase the top of the line processor accessible and cash is not a big apprehension, I just wish for somewhat blazing quick. I be familiar with Intel has fresh processors coming out in 2011. Are these going to swap this computer or just insert fresh ones? Are they coming out among anything more rapidly or superior in 2011? Should I stay or buy now? If you have any suggestion to buy any best desktop computer then please provide me.

The alternate for a 980X is going to be Sandy Bridge LGA 2011, which will comes out in nearly second half of 2011 - the ones coming out in April are the conventional parts to put back the normal i5s and i7s. Do you in fact require the more power over something like an i7-950? That is a hell of a cost payment to pay for 2 more cores. The novel sandy bridge that is coming out near the beginning 2011 would not out perform i7-980X. I hope it will help you.

Are the functions you planning to apply optimized for six cores? Can they maintain the six cores? If you are failure or video encoding or additional tasks that can acquire benefit of the two additional cores, the 980x will have a large benefit over 1155 Sandy Bridge. But if you are mostly paying attention on gaming, which does not take benefit of the additional cores, still the $200 Sandy Bridge i5-2500K will punch the 980x. The similar way the humble i3 will punch the greatest hexcore AMD or Core 2 Quad in games that simply support two cores.

I think you're losing money if you go with the 980. Unless you really can justify. If only one computer on their ability to do normal things, then that money is better invested in a 930 or 950 and multi-GPU configuration for games. The premium is not just worthwhile. I mean, if you have the ability you can get a far superior bang for buck. If you have the cash, and wish for to just have a usual stock computer then the 980 may be for you. I think you are not the afterward though. Apparently there is a whole new slough of chips coming too. Stay for price drop.

Seeing as you are not construction this for gaming, and you wish for a central processing unit now that will previous awhile and be superior for all the things you wish for it for. I would like to say that you drop into that little niche that can in fact use a 980x. It looks like there would not be something that can punch it awaiting second half of 2011, so you have over 3 month of having the best ordinary CPU you can get.
