I have a Neo Empriva 572SVB running Vista Ultimate. A few weeks ago whenever I click to open afolder the computer tries to send the folder to the recycle bin istead of opening it. Thinking I had a virus, I clean installed Vista, formatting my drive from the installation disk. I finished install and after a short time, the problem begins again.
I have done 3 clean installs but the problem keeps coming back.

In that case i think there might be some internal problem with your device. It might be possible that touch pad lots it functionality due to some internal conflict. But before this i will advise you to download and install the latest touchpad driver from the manufacturer site and install the same to check whether the problem resolved or not. If this is not working for you then you should contact the developer to sort out the issue related to the device of yours.

Thank you for the tip, I will try, but this still occurs when I use a USB mouse
