    Display Japanese and other characters properly instead of boxes

    I currently buy a Dell laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, however, my laptop cannot display Chinese characters, and it is only showing me the square box in place of the characters. Can anyone tell me how to make the change can show these characters, furthermore, within a continuing stalemate by means of character of English intended for the top level folder. My question is that how to correctly show china folder otherwise file name? All the Chinese words in open / save file dialog codes are messy; it is a real problem with me. If you have any suggestions on this topic please let me know. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

    Are you seeing strange codes? I do not see anything at all. If I take a folder that displays properly in the "File / Open" window and then add a Unicode character to the end (a Chinese character, for example) that folder and will not twist in "File / Open." The entire folder is overlooked. I think that Blender uses FreeType on the way to show text, but the collection is compatible with Unicode. There are so Unicode fonts GPL, therefore, is supposed to be possible, however does not look like it at the moment. Does anyone know how to change the font in the user interface 2.5A1? Are you in a deadlock to recompile for this? What font formats it supports?

    We recommend you try the following method to solve the problem. Looking for a Windows version of the same with the team and show normal, according to the following steps:
    1. In the standard machine, select the "Start" → "Run" dialog box, type "regedit", open the Registry Editor;
    2. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Fontassoc" after you select the "Register" → "Export Registry File" and then select the "branch", export the registry branch to a file (for ZT.REG example) in;
    3. ZT.REG copy the file to your machine illegible, the method is: garbled on the computer that is running "regedit", open the Registry Editor, select the "Register" → "Import to register" file ZT. REG, in the registry.

    I would like to tell you that the applications, games, elimination is clearly confusing China's software can display the interface is confusing, this could be due to record information about the font settings to change incorrectly caused. Usually because of Chinese software link libraries are enclosed in English reasoned link library, a phenomenon that frequently happens in the use of Microsoft development tools for example Visual Basic, the development of Chinese software venture capital. In such software, the menu and other characters on the screen interface are subject to a dynamic link library. " DLL "control, and software, dynamic link library is often installed in the Windows System 98 / 2000. If in the future to install a software library of dynamic links to English through a similar name, the English software library dynamic link original void Windows \ System under the dynamic link library Chinese software. So, what time of run is called in English from China's software library dynamic link, confusing results? The solution is to reinstall the software in China, to be able to restore the dynamic link library in China.

    I also encompass the related trouble by means of Windows 7 professional. Through my previous windows XP I was equipped to read both Traditional with Simplified Chinese. It seems like the official solution as of Microsoft is "Spend added money if you wish to interpret and write Chinese". I would like to tell you that there are a lot of additional languages are free of charge. Please inform me if there is some other solution to chuck out this issue. Thank you.

    If the problem is related to the internet websites then it is possible that the web sites you visit in another language browser's default language. If the browser's default language is put to English as well as if a Russian website that opens then browser will show the special characters of the alphabets which are not recognized by it. Therefore, check if the websites you visit are in the browser's default language and whether the sites are in another language and then use the Google translator to translate the website in the browser's default language and then check whether the browser displays unknown character or not.
