ntkrnlpa.exe and halmacpi.dll causing blue screen in windows 7

I have windows 7 installed on my computer and i have been using this setup for a long time now. Suddenly i started getting blue screen errors. On investigating i think ntkrnlpa.exe and halmacpi.dll causing blue screen in windows 7 on my machine. Is there a way to make sure if these files are causing it also if anyone has a solution would appreciate. If i delete these files, will my windows run without issues? I have no idea what these files do.

Even i have a same problem and i too find these files to be the culprit. The BSOD occurs randomly. It can not happen for a few hours, but it may occur several times an hour. I installed a clean Windows many times in this team and I take the same steps each time, Installing required drivers immediately after installation and allows Windows Update to update and install the missing drivers and installation updates. Also have never had a BSOD before the recent clean install and no hardware changes I've made before or after installation.

Re: ntkrnlpa.exe and halmacpi.dll causing blue screen in windows 7

I can not seem to find a pattern when my system crashes of the bsod. I tried to change the hard drive by switching it with a different system which is very identical and still get blue screens. I was doubting the hard disks of causing the error, but the scan disk went smoothly without finding any corrupt files and so nothing was fixed. Also i tried to switch the memory of the other machine. But now the number of bsod decreased. Now i feel its not the memory too cause iif that were faulty, it would have caused bsod on the other machiens too. Please help

The maximum times the faulty parts is the memory module, other times, its hard disks, and rarely power supply. If the problem is due to a software, the files causing the bsod should be replace with a clean copy. Generally you can replace most files in normal mode else in safe mode. But if system files are involved you will have to move the hard disk to some other drive and copy the clean files on the hard disk. This may solve the problem, but only if the files are the real ones causing the bsod. Meanwhile also check if the power supply isn't faulty...
