    Windows 7: LogonUI.exe - No Disk

Well I have recently purchased a new laptop on which I have installed Windows 7 on it. I have transferred the old profile to the new system from the old computer. I am having F: as the primary hard drive rather than C: Whenever I try to logoff from the system I am getting following error message which states that LogonUI.exe - No Disk. There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into the drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR2. It prompts three options which are Cancel, Try again, Continue. However none of works to solve the matter. Please let me know if you are having the same situation and also let me know if you are having any solution with you. Thanks in advance.

I think I know why this issue is occurring in your particular situation. Well I think you have set C: to removable disk. Another reason is that you do not having any removable disk at removable disk drive. So check it out on the above mentioned conditions and see whether it is the root cause of the problem. You have to plan troubleshooting method according to answers of the above mentioned quick checks.

Well I am having a solution in this particular situation to solve the matter.
    1. You have to login on your computer as Administrator.
    2. You have to insert disk on removable disk. Now right click on the My Computer and select Manage
    3. Now choose Disk Management. Now you have to choose desire drive and click on Change Drive Letter and Paths.
    4. Now you have to click on removable drive and simply click on change and choose the desired drive from the list and click Ok to apply.
I am hoping that it helps you to solve the problem.

I have successfully solved the issue in this particular situation. Well I let you know why it was happening. I was using G drive to install Operating system on the old computer of mine. However in the new computer of mine G drive was allotted as SD card or for removable disk. I had simply modified the disk name with the next available letter and I have solved the issue. From where I am not having any issue.
