Losing track of time in windows xp

Hi, since from 2 weeks I struggle with this issue without any kind of solution. When I reset time in my PC it works till 1 day but after that when I open my PC on next day it shows me some random time. I do not know why like this happening in my system. It is always short in few hours. The battery on the board I have already replaced with a brand new one. The problem is still there. And one issue is also in this is when I open my PC for more than 3 hours then it begins to slow and before that it was running smoothly. What could this it? Recently my system is running on to the windows xp operating system with sp3. So what solution will help me in order to set me free from this kind of issue?

Just try to provide continue energy to the PC overnight, And do not turn off that power strip. If everything runs normally, it means that the battery is not enough energy to let the clock continue to run. Or if this will not help you in order to fix your issue then you can the article related to this on to the Microsoft site. And there you will get article related to this issue. So just check that I am sure this will help you.

If your computer's clock is not working properly, or if the time is actually dissimilar every time you boot, your CMOS battery may be failing. The CMOS battery is a little battery within your PC that remembers significant data when you turn the computer off. If your PC "forgets" the time every time you, so it is happening because of that battery may be dead. So in order to fix this you just replace the battery through a new one. This is a quite easy process if you have ever opened your PC before then you should be able to get the CMOS battery on your PC's main board. So in that you just carefully fix the other battery I am sure this will fix your issue.

And like this if it is happening to you on to the server then you can fix this by following this solution. On a network with a server, you will often have time organization. Time sync means that the server wants to be able to precisely monitor, start and stop events on its customer PCs. To do this, it wants accurate timekeeping. To implement this, it sets the client PC clocks to competition its own each time you log in. In the question above, this is the primary answers which I think definitely help you. If you're logging on to a network, it does not matter if you set your PC's clock - it may be superseding daily by the server time organization policy.

Sometimes like this happen to you because of the poorly designed or slightly faulty CMOS. No problem, though. For computers not linked to a network along with a server, Windows XP permits you to coordinate your clock over the Internet. This process in Windows is called as "time synchronization", and can be performed manually. If you do not run it manually, it will routinely synchronize your computer's clock once a week. To enable time synchronization, go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Date and Time, and tick the "Internet Time" tab on the Date and Time window. Tick on to the "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" and time management will be turned on. If you are not able to see the "Internet Time" tab, then your computer is either part of a Windows network "domain" or you have an older version of Windows: Anything before Windows XP does not support this.

Check with the Automatically synchronize in the date and time. and also keep computer on charge and work for a long time and check. change the channel ID or check with the connection connected to wired state.
