Gateway DX4300 constantly shut down

I have a gateway DX4300 in which I am working on windows XP, from 2 days I am getting that this gateway DX4300 computer is giving me problem related to shut down.It constantly shut down as well as it say no to shut down manually with the power key this machine is merely four months old. can anybody tell me what the is incorrect with this computer?
