windows explorer problem (windows xp)

ok so I am having this problem that when I go into any mobile devise (usb, sd card) pops up with windows explorer error. this is very annoying

originally I thought it was that dr watson post mortem thing. I disabled that and am still getting the error. please help.

Is it happening with just External drives like SD cards , flash driver etc ? Make sure that there is not any problem with those external devices. ALso, try to restore your system to any previous version of system restore point, if any. It might be cause of some recently installed application.

ok so it only sems to happen with this one sd card. so it is probably a certian file that windows doesn't like?

Well yes the thing can be because of the file. But the issue is most prominent with the hardware.

I even totally agree to what Orlando has said and hence I would like you to see for the Memory Card there.
