    Linux Mint Update stopped loading During the Startup

    Hello friends, recently I had observed on my system that the Mint Update icon has stopped up loading at the point of the startup similar to it must perform and was there for some days after the upgrade from the Helena to Julia. Is there someone have some thoughts regarding this, I think that it is the bug. I have also checked inside the 'startup programs' application moreover it is checked OK inside that, please help, it would be really helpful.

    It feels to me that you would have deleted the notification area through your panel. What you can try is just have the right mouse button click on to the Panel and then choose the option Add to Panel. Then you will obtain the listing of applets after that. Select "notification area". After that attempt by means of synaptic refresh meant for latest updates and the green mark in tray should come into view once again

    Hi friend, you are little bit correct but there is the notification is still present. I still have the sound applet as well as the networking icon and so on. In addition, when I physically begin the Mint Update program, the accurate icon displays there all right. I manually start Mint Update through the list of options; it confirms in the tray region all right and waits there until and unless it is being restarted, later than restart it is not there on start up.

    The other thing we can try it out is that we can open up the Synaptic Package Manager and then try to reinstall the update Manager and then after that restart the system back. Now check whether it helps you out from the problem. I am not very sure that what should we have to reinstall whether "mintupdate" or the gnome update-manager. Try to do it with both of them. Hope any one of them will help.
