Error 800706BE and 800706BA

I am running windows 7 home premium on a toshiba satellite. recently i have been trying to run updates through the microsoft update (security essentials updates and IE and others) in total right now I am up to 16 updates failing every time i update. the two error codes I receive after it tries to update are

800706BE
and
800706BA

I also get messages from the action center now saying I have no anti0virus program (I have security essentials) and i have no windows defender (have had it always enabled)


any suggestions?

i looked at those but they apply to vista or windows xp....this toshiba used to run vista but then was upgraded to windows 7. have a dell laptop running windows 7 as well and same anti-virus stuff and no problems whatsoever
