    How can we register the downloaded MSWINCK.OCX file in windows 7

    I recently purchased a new Dell INSPIRON laptop with the Intel Pentium processor inside of windows 7 operating system. I currently having visual basic install inside my computer. So I require mswinsk.ocx ole for the smooth running of my visual basic .so I downloaded the file MSWINSCK.ocx from the internet I don’t know that website from where I downloaded, but it does not find to run inside in my computer. But this same downloaded software had performed properly on my pc very well since I used windows vista in that desktop pc. So I need to know that does it will work fine inside my laptop. Because it is not registering inside in my laptop properly since it is giving out an error message.

    I think that the file which you have downloaded for the visual basic may not compatible with the windows 7 and hence it is giving you error of not registering the file inside the windows 7. As you told that the file had run properly I windows 7 so I think that the file which you have downloaded is compatible with the windows vista and it was easily registered on your vista computer. So must download the proper file which would be compatible with the windows 7. So I think that there is some problem with the file and not with the operating system. So I suggest you to check the file which you have downloaded inside in your computer and then uninstall the whole software again and then try to install it on your laptop of windows 7.
