File System Check freezes while Scanning C

I am facing an unusual problem the thing is that whenever I start my system gives me an error message and says that "check the file system on C for consistency" and after that within 10 seconds the system freezes and also there is option on the error message is "SKIP" and after the clicking on that the system automatically reboots. Please help me in this case and also let me know how to fix this issue. One thing I would like to say here is that the problem is arising immediately after the partition and after installing windows 7 operating system.

You are getting this error due to the scheduled the Chkdsk.exe program that is running on your system or it may have also got due to the Autochk.exe program. So what you have to do here is that just go to the system tools from the accessories option which is present in All programs option. In that you have to just click on the scheduled tasks and then just end them or delete it. I think this will help you to solve the issue.

Well I think the registry settings have been set to run the autochk programs the system starts. I mean to say that when the system starts the autochk. It happens if the particular program is set to be run at startup then the system tends to give this error. And to remove this you have to disable that particular program from the start up list. I am sure that this will help you to resolve the problem.

I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that I you have to get rid of this issue then you have to run the sfc/scannow. This is the program that scans the whole system and then tells you which are is affected and also has the tendency to repair the program files. That is if any program file is corrupted then it can be repaired by this scan. You can start this scan by typing this command on the command prompt after that you have to wait for fem minutes because the whole system is being scanned by the system.

If you will ask me then I think that there is a definite problem with the hard drive that you are using. Because it may have happened that the hard drive is being damaged due to some unwanted stuff and immediately needed a repair. And you have also mentioned that the problem caused after the portioning of the hard disk so it may also happen that portioning process have damaged the hard disk. Jut repair the hard disk or get it replaced by any other one. I hope that repairing or changing the hard drive will help you to solve the issue.

I guess you can solve the issue by just enabling the automatic disabling the diskchecking and that too without starting the windows start up registry. And do the same you have to follow the below mentioned steps:

• First of all go to the start button and then just type regedit in the search box and then press enter.
• Then you will find this registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
• Then in the right hand side of the pane you will find the BootExecute so you have to just double click on it. And then just disable the autocheck at the start up. I guess this will help you to solve the case.
