    Unable to end spoolsv.exe task

I am having a system with windows 7 operating system and also a printer is connected to it. Now the thing here is that spoolsv.exe has become a headache to me. When this process is kept running then it consumes almost 50% of the CPU and becomes hard for me to speed up the system. And if I end this task then it is difficult for me to use the printer and to print any document. IS there is any way that will help me to end the process and also keep the printer is in use.

If you have to get rid of this problem then just try the below mentioned steps:
    • First go to the start button and then select the settings.
    • After that you have to select the control panel.
    • In the Control panel window you have to select the Administrative tools by double-clicking on it.
    • After that just select the services option from it
    • Then in the extreme right pane of the Services option you will find the Print Spooler so just right click on it and then choose Stop. And keep this window open
    • Immediately after that you have to open mu computer and then navigate the following path c:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS –
    • There you have to delete the files in the Printers folder.
    • After deleting the files just go back to the control panel window and start the print spooler again.

I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that you can solve the issue by removing the printer connections and then connecting it back. Now what you have to do here is that remove all the installation related to printer. And then clean it with the help of the registry cleaner. There is nothing to worry because all cleaner settings are default so you can use any. Then restart the system and reconnect the printer and also do the needful installation. I hope that this will help you to solve the issue.

Well thank you for answering my queries; I have solved the issue by just deleting the files from the printer folder. But the thing here is that I am not able to start the printer spooler option again. I mean to say that before deleting the file I set it to stop and after deleting the files when I came back to it for starting it but the start option was disabled. I don’t know what is wrong with it please help me to get rid if the issue.
