Can’t reduce width of Taskbar in windows 7 system

Hey I want some information about the task-bar that placed on window. I have laptop that has processor Intel Core 2 Duo @2.9GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, this all hardware running smoothly under Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, but I have only problem that I can’t re-size the width of task-bar and also got a problem to set its location to left or right. After trying so many times I tired but I have notices that the width is wider when I set it to left or right. I have tried to drag this to reduce the size but nothing happens at there. Do you have any idea about this kind of problem, if you have any solution which solve this problem, please gives it to me, any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

This is so simple, means you can do this, for that you to follow some step, by which you can fulfills your requirement. Just open the menu option in that you will find control center, then select desktop option, after clicking that you will find panels option, just select it and you will see the size menu or option and last just select custom and use. Just do this I am sure after trying this you might able to set your task-bar, as per your need.

I am not so sure but I can tell you that if in cases you have locked your task-bar, your system not allow you to this task, means you can’t re-size the width of the task-bar. To fix this problem just give a right click on task-bar in that you will see the lock option just remove means unchecked that option, and try again, this solution might satisfy you and you might re-size the width of the task-bar.

This is possible if your taskbar has no space to place anything or has no space to re-size anything on that. So just remove language bar from the taskbar, you can remove this by just right clicking on taskbar then select tools bar in that you will find disable the language bar, after doing this try to resize and restart your system again. This is simple task for you, I hope after doing this you might get your solution.

I think I have a solution for this kind of problem so if you want to do it, then just do as I say, first dragged divider to the right side which is placed at launch area, after that look for under the right of start and drag that task-bar as you want, after doing that adjust left side to properly see that task-bar on your window. You can’t drag or can’t reduce the task-bar size, if you have locked the task-bar, so first unlock that task-bar option and do what I say to you. I am sure that after doing this you might able to reduce the size of task-bar.

Yes you can do this by simply following the step, this solution work on my system, so first right click on task-bar then select properties, in that you will find unlock button, just click on that if it is checked, before doing this make sure that always combine option is selected, then click on OK button. In the second step, press Ctrl+Alt+Del which displays you task manager, in that open process tab, and look for the “dwn.exe” process, just right click on that and select end process. In the final step after finishing above two step give a right click on task-bar and lock it again. Just restart your system; you will see that you have got your solution. Try this I will wish for you that it work on your system.
