Windows 7 opens system32 folder when clicked on anything

I have bought new ACER ASPIRE 5251-1005 laptop that has already installed Windows 7 operating system, everything is working normally but something that I can’t get solve, which cause some error in the system. This laptop has AMD V series processor @2.2GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 250 GB hard drives. You know the task bar that are normally use to make sort cut for easy use, the problem is that when I click on any of the process to open, windows 7 directly opens the system32 folder. Some time when I click on any of the icon of the desk top this window directly open this system32 folder, I don’t know what to do to fix this problem. Is there is anyone has some information to solve this weird thing, any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

As per my ideas this problem only occur if in any cases your system has misplace the path for that particular process. This only happen in the system if your system has affected with the virus, this virus execute every time when you hit hat process to open, and after clicking it directly take you to the system32 folder, to fix this problem you can scan your computer with updated anti-virus, just do as I say, I hope it work on your system.

---- Hey man I have this same problem but you know what I have solve this problem. Thing is that I have different versions of laptop but, you can try this on your laptop to solve this problem. I have uninstalled the EGISTEC Shredder tool that is included in the WINLOCKER suite, after doing this my system working like new one; it means system opens particular application not the system32 folder. I don’t how it happen but it work on my laptop, so to fix your problem in your laptop, just uninstall related application, I hope after doing this task, you might fulfills your requirement.

Microsoft windows explorer might open the content of the system32 folder if you have Most of the time when you log onto the Microsoft Windows. This type of system behavior only happens if the string value stores the single quote character which is mainly look like value data in the following registry key
    “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run”.
To fix this problem just deletes that value which is in the single quotes (‘’). Try this solution I wish that work on your system.

---- This type of situation you have to face if any of the null entry or the damaged entry exits in the registry. This is happen if you have installed any of the tools for you use but after uninstalling them, your system if not deletes that registry from the system directory, your system only opens that system32 folder. Sometime this happen if your system has some virus. For this just use recovery software, which help you to fix this type of problem.

This is the problem that only arises in your system if in any cases your system has lost the path for that process and this path might be changed due to any virus. Virus normally remove it original location and place any ordinary path for that process. You can solve this by making some change in your system, for this just try to delete
    “%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations
    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations”
location. It will remove all pinned and recent document, I hope this might help you to solve this type of problem.

If in any cases your system has running the process under blank character, you might have to suffer from this type of error. This single quote character fulfilled with null or any damaged entry that not allow you to open that process, so to prevent from this problem, open control panel in that select Default program icon, after doing this click on Set default program link, click on set program as default after setting up the path, then click on save button to apply this changes, I hope this might work on your system, if it not work after doing this, that simply means your system has strong malware, just update your anti-virus and scan your computer, I am sure that after doing this you might satisfy.
