Different versions of Discs for the windows 7

I have to repair my windows and I am wondering if Microsoft has a straight download .iso image you are able to obtain devoid of having to buy each different kind of windows 7. I am asking this for the reason that when I am reconstructing windows 7 machines at that time I have noticed that my windows 7 Ultimate disc is not able to do an install of say pro or home premium and I have tried this by the keys which I get from the customer. And it seems only ultimate. If I am right Vista had each single build on it but it appears as though 7 is different? Thanks in advanced.

I think I have solution for this actually in this there is a single file on top of the disc that describes what "version" of Windows currently you are using. And in this if you check inside the sources folder on a disc, in that you will able to see the file named "ei.cfg". And this defines that which of the version currently you are using of the windows 7 disc. And in this all you have to do is that you have to create new disc for that which has the ei.cfg file removed and at the time of installation you will be asked that which edition of the windows 7 you want to install. So only that much I know related to your query.

I have read all the post which is given over here and the solution which is given by the user in the last reply it is OK but you have to take some precaution in that. First in this you are not able to join the 32 and 64-bit versions onto a single disc using the "simple" methods. On the other hand, with a little Googling, you will be able to get the forum posts from people that have joint both on single discs/USB keys, or have even combined Windows 7 with Server 2008 R2.

Regarding this I just want to say that certainly, depending on how wide this side business which people are doing I mean repairing the computer. And in this also you obtain entrance to their tools and pricing. And about this I do not know much more than this. So I think this much of information will help you and for the more information related to your issue you just contact to the Microsoft guys and I am sure that they will help you in the better way.

I do not follow all these things I am just currently thinking on this and I think you are able to do this. I used the retail copy of the windows vista operating system and complete the full installation on my laptop. And at the time of installation I used the OEM key from the laptop and in my case it I working fine. What you say related to this, it is absolutely true for versions of Windows prior to Vista though. So I hope it will help you that how to do this.
