Windows 7 displays new device not the old device

One week ago I have format my PC and no this install the windows 7 operating system. At that time my laptop has been added as a new device and the earlier device names showing as "offline". I have kept the earlier devices in the sync while adding the new device name. Currently LiveSync is installed on my machine and in this only Windows Firewall is in use. And I use my laptop at home and at work and machine on these location runs fine. Before this laptop never had this kind of issue when I start to use this application since Folder share days running on Vista. So anyone one have solution for this then please help me.

I have read your issue and your problem is, by doing the complete installation you are getting the previous name device. And it is also not get recognized by the Windows Live Sync. So in order to fix this you go in to the Live Sync website and after it you just remove this I mean that you remove the current computer name from the list and after that you just see that what is happening.

I have also done the complete installation and I have also removed the old Vista computer device. I think that the main issue is being on the windows 7 operating system I have added this laptop three times. So I think because of this only I am getting this kind of error. I have not changed anything on the laptop. So please help me soon to get me out of this issue.

When today I have start up this so I have to re log in to the live sync and in that blue arrows were flashing and entire thing was working properly. But after that I have clicked on to the blue array in the notification area and I have noticed that all my Sync locations were grayed out. And when ?I click on the sync website so at that time I observed that there is now laptop3 is showing online and other three laptops are in the offline status. And with a new device I have added this machine to each sync folder. I have seen that no new software getting loaded and also setting remain the previous one. So please tell me any suggestion related to this.

My laptop was working completely fine yesterday. But when I closed all the application which were running and also closed the lid and turn off it. And today in the morning when I try to turn it on it remains in the sleep mode, and also I have observed that its battery get drained. So regarding this I think that the problems may be Windows 7 not sleeping properly and hanging. When I select the start Windows Normally then I have to reenter my LiveSync credentials, and after that I set up as a new device. So if you have any kind of suggestion then please help me here.
