Windows Vista for some reasons such as lack of responsiveness on some machines, performance issues, a lack of innovation, and compatibility issues with multiple hardware and software. It was no so good as what you get in Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista then I will recommend you to update your system to Windows 7. It is must nicer operating system.

Vista uses a lot of memory and it is quiet slow also. For virtual machine support Windows Vista is not suitable. While on the same if you are using Windows 7 then the machine was running fine with 1 GB. A Windows 7 system optimizes energy consumption, which saves valuable autonomy. Indeed, Windows Seven dynamically adjusts the processor speed.

As Windows 7 is a new operating system then it is much better one on the base of performance and power performance. The file system used the same is quiet good on the base of GUI. This avoids the search sub-directories for files commonly used. Even with Vista, when you move the mouse to an icon on the taskbar displays an image of the corresponding application.

All security functions, catering, update are combined into one, now called the Action Center. It has an icon in the taskbar to open this window for general use. This makes your system quiet a good for working under security support. In Windows 7 now you just click on a file. ISO to burn on a CD or DVD, no additional software is required. So that is quite a useful feature and quite good.

Windows 7 is much more faster than Windows Vista. In Windows 7 there is a free download emulator will run applications like XP Mode. It seems however that this is reserved for later versions Seven. Seven supports touch screen so if you have an operating system like that then you very less chances for searching for different options. It is better recommended to use the compatibility mode for older applications.

Vista came out with several bugs and not needed toolbars on your desktop. The setup time in Windows 7 as compared to Vista is about 3 to 4 minutes lesser and faster also. Windows XP is still less than 7 minutes and Windows 7 beta is quiet further than it. If you have a good ram support with better hardware configuration then that is enough for you to run Windows 7.
