Game crashes BSOD - Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate on Qosmio X300

I have a Qosmio X300 laptop. It was working on Windows 7 and I had upgraded to 2GB ram recently for better performance. Now I had installed GTA San Andreas in it. While playing the game I kept my torrent on for downloading some files. It worked well for sometime and then I found Blue screen. The system crash whenever I play a game in the laptop. Does anyone knows why this happens.

I faced a similar issue in my system when while game the system crashes and restarts. I had modified a option by right-clicking on My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab and Startup and Recovery button. A spontaneous reboot is either because it would leave a blue screen, and being selected the previous option, instead of leaving, the system reboots, or by a hardware error that the operating system was unable to catch.

In the case of blue screen there is a mini-screen error report. The message shows you the issue behind the crash. If you see the Sys message then there are some components of Windows like ntoskrln, win32k.sys, esbstor.sys, usbyhci.sys, etc which you will need to check. You will also need to analyze the DMP file that is produced while the crash occurs. There can be some drivers which can be the culprit.

A large number of times a Sys or. Dll caused the error. In that case, you have no choice but to analyze the DMP file. The utility DUMPCHK comes in Windows 7 supports you to analyze the error. So if Windows to generate a blue screen has not been able to show, this tool will not serve us anything. This is tool is popular in Windows XP and for the same you might to look in Windows 7.

It is better if you can have a look at the DMP. There are three types of memory dump, which are activated from Right click on My Computer, Properties, Advanced tab and Startup and Recovery button for the file. They are Minidump, Kernel.dmp and complete. Minidump is generate in windows folder which is a small file. Kernel.dmp in most cases it is sufficient to diagnose the error and Complete is for the full DMP work.

If the system crash in game only then do not play the same. There might be some files in the game which is not compatible with Windows 7. You can open any dmp file and analyze the error. You can even open in remote ADSL, for example, and although the DUMP will be many megabytes, usually read only the header and little else, will be ready to view data. In this case we will open the DUMP from another machine over the network.

There are two types of blue screen, which show the file that show cause and a direction and a specific error, as might be PAGED PAGE FAULT IN NON AREA, IRQ NOT LESS OR NOT EQUAL KMOD EXCEPTION HANDLER. In the case of the blue screen shows us the file that the error occurs, there is no problem because you know who is generating the error, but in case you do not show any file, proceed to analyze the blue screen. The first thing to do is turn the feature to show us the error screen instead of restarting. To do this go to Control Panel / System / Advanced / Startup and Recovery.
