    Windows 7 recovery of XP generated .bkf files

    I am having an issue with which i need your hep. Actually i am having a Windows XP backup file which i have created with the help of the Windows XP backup Utility which is in the format of .bkf. And now the problem is that i wanted to restore this backup in the Windows 7 but did not get any way by which i can perform the same. So if any one can then please help me with the same. Thank you.

    There is a utility developed by the Microsoft that takes the back up of the system as well as restore the back up of the Older version of the Windows to the new version of the Windows. The one which i am talking about is known as the Windows NT Backup. If you wish to download the same file the you have to go through the below given link.

    As per your problem i will advise you to Install and run the Windows XP mode which will let you run the Windows XP backup on the Windows 7 running machine. It will allow you to run the application of the Windows XP to the Windows 7 . If you like then download and i install Windows XP mode and work with restoring of backup.

    I have gone through the detail and find then Windows XP mode useful for the restoring backup of mine. But as i am not familiar with the i have no idea how to use the same if any one is having the idea about the same then please let me know also provide me the detail and download of the Windows XP mode. A help may be appreciated.

    If nothing is working for you then i will advise you to go with the Window XP mode which is the application developed by the Microsoft help the user of Windows 7 who are facing the problem like compatibility in the same.
