I have a dual boot system with Vista32 and Vista64.
Everything works good, except I have issues with permissions and ownerships.
Is there a way to link to two operating systems to have a common group for user accounts wrt passwords and ownership?

Have a read of the above link re Vista File and Printer Sharing.
Permissions/Share info is there as well.
Thank you, good info.
I have two hard drives on my laptop both with a 100GB/400GB split.
Disk0 has Vista64 as C Drive (Shows as D Drive when in Vista32) the second
partition E Drive has my USER account in it where I link my Documents, Links, and Favorites.
Disk1 has Vista32 as C Drive (Shows as D Drive when in Vista64) the second
partition F Drive has my Public account in it where everyone can see.
My goal is which ever boot I choose my emails and documents are always in E drive.
The only issue I seem to be facing is that Vista32 doesn't know the Vista64 accounts and when I set permissions and ownership the following occurs
Vista64 has the user as RockStar but Vista32 see this as user...
Account Unknown(S-1-5-21-2678674985-1259954715-1201916485-1010)
It would be nice to have a location on my E drive with the account info. I know when I work at a company where they have real networks your account info is served from another computer.
Do you have any ideas of an economical way of doing this locally on my laptop?
Thank you
Douglas
