    Serious 196.75 Graphics Driver Bug

I do not observe this posted anyplace. If I am wrong sorry but I imagine it is pretty serious. Engaged the entire along with Blizzard are suggesting users uninstall the innovative 196.75 drives and revert back to the old version or description. The Users playing World of Warcraft and Star Craft 2 beta have information slow FPS and the consequence seems to be a bug with the mechanical fan control. Immediately letting you guys know presently in case, does not desire anyone to fry their cards.

So you have read approximately the web that those pulled drivers would slow the fan speed as the graphic load greater than before till the fan would stop and the card would fry itself and from time to time in addition damage the MOBO. The Nvidia states they are running with board partners for those that at present have damaged or damaged card. So your brother, whom was unlucky adequate to upgrade so he might get SLI in a innovative game and as a result is at present sitting on two cooked 8800's, put his name on the record to observe what Nvidia may do.

For this you have to do the following things, you have to observe that you have tried everything. If the fan of you system is not stopped then you have to basically not to increase the RPM. It merely affected G92 cards with convention non-nvidia cooler. If your card essentially failed, it determines to be replaced by board partners. This might solve the following problem.

If this was ATI you might be the entire in excess of this crap - nvidia screwed and be supposed to create certain people be familiar with to contact heir board-partners for a replacement, but what regarding those cards out of warranty. The EVGA so far has been the merely partner thus far that has replaced not working cards due to their lifetime warranty, but the majority people were not so lucky. This is completely nvidia's responsibility and people have a right to be angry. These were WHQL drivers for Christ's sake.

So if this was "predetermined" why people are with scratched cards essentially not getting maintain. Seems similar to a legit question to me, but you individually be familiar with they have been helped, for the reason that you know my brother superior than I do of course. Similar to the fact he has customary cards from Evga, not units with convention coolers. You might be sorry if you where individually offended by supplementary peoples lack of customer maintain but to post that peoples legit questions are BS seems to be a bit over reacting.

Re: Serious 196.75 Graphics Driver Bug

The ATI's driver circumstances superior spectacularly when they got the contract to do the GPU for the Xbox 360. Mine get over 100 C yesterday. Had to take priority over the auto fan setting with RivaTuner. Seems similar to the innovative drivers kicked the fan speed down to a fixed 25%. But subsequent to sleeping, the voltage is too low for a number of fans to even start back up. Burning down the house. No troubles with 196.75 drivers what so ever. Still, downgraded to preceding driver per manufacturer's suggestions.
