Need XP driver for Toshiba MK2555GSx Hard Drive

A i am installing the Windows XP on my Netbook which gives me the error that no hard drive installed that i am unable to understand. So Need XP driver for Toshiba MK2555GSx Hard Drive as i am having the same netbook. So if anyone is having the driver for the same then let me know about it so that i can work with the device of mine. Thanks in advance.

The error which you are getting is not with the hard drive it is asking for the missing SATA Controller Drive and. So all you need is nothing but the SATA drive. As the Windows XP doesn't have native SATA support so you have to install the SATA driver on your own. So instead of looking hard drive search for the SATA drive.

I think from above post now you are aware that you require the SATA controller drive and not the Hard drive. So if you be more specific and let us know which notebook you are using then it will be easier for use to give you the proper driver for your SATA controller which you can download and install to your system to run the Windows XP.

Yes now i know that i require the SATA Controller for my device to work with the Windows XP but still have no idea which driver should i install. So here i am giving you the detail that i am using the Toshiba NB205-N330 mini netbook Hoping that you will get to know about the driver which i needed after going through this.

As per your model specification let me tell you that you require the For Intel ICH7R/M, ICH8R/M, ICH9R/M or ICH10R/D S-ATA AHCI and RAID Controllers. So download the same from the Intel site and work with your issue.

Now you know about the driver detail that you have install on your system so that you can easily run the Windows XP on your netbook. So i will suggest you to go to the manufacturer site and enter the model number of your device and ask for the compatible driver for Windows XP with the Toshiba tech Support which might resolve your issue.
