How to migrate roaming profile from XP to Win 7

I need your help to get solution over my query related to the migration of the roaming profiles. I have to do the migration of roaming XP profiles to the Windows 7 format. I nave tried many methods for that same, but unfortunately nothing was helpful. If anyone know how to migrate roaming profile from XP to Win 7, then please let me know that. I am waiting for your reply.

I think you need to use the 'User State Migration Tool'. I think this is the safest way to roaming profile from XP to Win 7. with this 'User State Migration Tool' you are able to redirect the Active Directory environment also. With this tool you can also able to migrate the desktop settings and preferences. Try out this tool.

The roaming profile can also be taken into account for community-based services. Thus, we can not only propose changes to the individual by his profile, but also to benefit the individual information group and vice versa. It is also possible from an existing roaming and use it as a prototype. In this case the prototype can be copied to be adapted.

I don't think that it is very simple task to migrate roaming profile from XP to Win 7 operating system. I was also tried to do the migration for the same, but there was no success. I also also tried to use the USTM tool, but it was quite complicated use this tool. So I think you need to try out the solution other than USTM tool for XP roaming profile migration.
