I think that your hard drive is not properly connected to the board properly that is why it is unable to detected the hard disk. So it is better to reset power to the drive which will make setting to the default. And also change the IDE or the SATA Cable of the which might be unable to detect the same. So do the same work with it.

As per my knowledge it seems that your hard drive might got corrupted or the break down. Connect your hard drive to some other computer and check whether you are getting the same error or not. If you are getting the same then your hard drive is need to replace with the new one. So do the same as i said and check whether it is working or not.

I think that the problem can be sorted out with the replacement of the IDE or the SATA cable which might be creating the issue with the Hard Drive. So replace the same and work with the new one cable into your computer and this will resolve your issue. The cable might be the main cause for the issue. Say thanks if it works for you.
