SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7

Hello, I have done a clean install of the Windows 7 Ultimate operating system. I was using SmartMoveEmail previously in Windows XP to extract meta-tags, body text and URL apart from E-mails. The problem is that now SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7, even after doing the clean install of the operating system. Please help me with suitable suggestions as soon as possible.

Re: SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7

I suppose that SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7 because this software may not be compatible with the operating system. In such cases, it does not matter whether you have done a clean install or upgradation of the Windows 7 operating system. For the solutions from such issues, it is recommended to keep another operating system like Windows XP also installed in another drive, since it does not have any incompatibility problems.

Hello there, It is possible that SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7 because this particular software is being blocked by the operating system from starting. This is happening because of the security features that Windows 7 provides. You have to use the "run as administrator" option to force the particular application to start in Windows 7.

The system requirements of SmartMoveEmail are as follows:
    • Operating system: Windows XP
    • RAM: 1 GB

So, SmartMoveEmail turns "not responding" in Windows 7, basically because this particular operating system that you are currently using is not supported by this software. I cannot understand why did you switch from Windows XP because there are no problems with the same.

I guess that you are using an old version of SmartMoveEmail due to which it turns "not responding" in Windows 7. Many of the users of Windows 7 are facing such problems with the old versions, that are not compatible with the operating system. So, I suggest that you should check out for the new version of this software and if you do not get the latest version, then better look out for the alternatives available for the same in the market.
