As per my knowledge this is not happening n the Windows 7 but still you getting the problem with the Windows 7 then it could be possible that the mouse driver is got corrupted with some reason. So just update the driver of the mouse so that it can be possible for you to run the Right Click option on the Windows 7. To update the driver just know about the manufacturer and then go to the official site and then download the latest driver for your mouse.

If the above method is not working for you then it might be possible that you mouse got switched the primary and secondary buttons. So you have to make the changes in the mouse setting to perform the same. So check mouse setting form the mouse option by control panel and then go to the check box having the "Switch primary and secondary button” and uncheck it. And you are done.

You can customize your mouse in a variety of ways. For instance, you can swap the functions of your mouse buttons, make the mouse pointer more visible, and alter the scroll speed of the mouse wheel.

    1. Open Mouse Properties by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type mouse, and then click Mouse.
    2. Click the Buttons tab, and then do any of the following:
    3. To swap the functions of the right and left mouse buttons, under Button configuration, select the Switch primary and secondary buttons check box.
    4. To change how quickly you must click the buttons to perform a double-click, under Double-click speed, move the Speed slider toward Slow or Fast.
    5. To turn on ClickLock, which enables you to highlight or drag items without holding down the mouse button, under ClickLock, select the Turn on ClickLock check box.
    6. Click OK.
