This error is basically associated with the direct X file. You need to install the latest updated Direct X version of the file in order to make the system to work properly and do not give any error issue. This normally corresponds to the issue that the required file is been missing and hence the .dll needs to be initialized in the library of the application to its system files.

There is another way through which you could make the thing to work under your way. You need to uninstall the Direct X application and then install it again. Go to the start button and the click on it. Then open the control panel option and choose add/remove programs. After that you need to look out for the direct X application that is been installed and then click on remove. Now after it has been done then reinstall the new version of the direct X.

You can sort the issue by running some tests for the Direct X files that is been installed in the system. Click on the start button menu and then type dxdiag in the search box option. Hit enter. Now as the windows opens up you need go to the display tab and then try to run the tests. This may sort the relevant issue and hence let you to work with the application without any error problem.

It may be that the system has lost certain associated file that is required to fulfill the thing. You need to install the application and hence try to execute the complete process without any error issue. Use the utility disc of operating system and then run the repair system process. A system restore should sort the issue out. All you need to do is to perform the process as mentioned below:

    a) Click on the start menu and then to the programs section.
    b) Now go to accessories.
    c) Open the system tools option and open the system restore.
    d) Now set the date accordingly that your system was working fine without any error issue.
    e) Restart the system.
