AudioLab VC++ not working in Windows 7

I have recently upgraded my system from Windows XP to Windows 7. I was using AudioLab VC++ for processing the audio at a good speed in my system. But, AudioLab VC++ not working in Windows 7. I cannot understand why this is happening. The installation was successful, but still I am not able to run the software. If anyone has some idea about what may be the problem, kindly reply with suitable solutions. Is there some other alternative available to AudioLab VC++?

    Windows 7 has many incompatibilities

Windows 7 has many incompatibilities and this may be the reason why AudioLab VC++ not working in Windows 7. I suggest you to use a dual boot system, so that you will have 2 operating systems in your computer. So, with this method you can switch to another operating system, that is incompatible in Windows 7. I suggest you to install Windows XP as the other operating system.

    Hardware and software evaluation tool

Due to the incompatibilities in Windows 7, many of the programs and applications that work in the previous versions of Windows operating systems do not work in windows 7. I recommend you to use the hardware and software evaluation tool, that will let you know all the incompatible programs in your system. Accordingly, you can search for the alternatives and complements that are available for the incompatibilities in the market.

Do not upgrade to Windows 7

AudioLab VC++ may not be working in Windows 7 because there are many problems in Windows 7 and this may be one of the problems. That is why it is recommended by many experts "Do not upgrade to Windows 7". One of the reason is that it is very expensive as compared to the other operating systems available. Also, Windows 7 has very less difference to Windows Vista. So, it is better to use Windows Vista than Windows 7. Also, almost all the programs and applications in Windows XP are compatible with Windows Vista.

    Hello Balamani,

    Have you checked compatibility?
    Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.
Check out the Windows 7 Compatibility site: (There you will find out about hardware and software compatibility.)
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx
There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

There are also some great articles, instructional videos and such to help with your Windows 7 at our Springboard site:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...egory/w7itpro/ . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads available there for additional assitance and support.

    Thanks again,
