Want to install Google OS Live Beta.

Hello Everybody, I am using my computer from last 7 or may be 8 years. Now all the operating systems are coming up with the much more system requirements then i have it on mine. Recently i tried to install the windows 7 on my machine but it did not worked because of hardware compatibility problems. Can i install the Google OS Live Beta on my machine. What are the minimum system requirements for this OS to be installed ?

Now Google has been providing with the operating system also. It has launched the operating system built around Google Chrome named as Google Chrome OS. Actually it is based on Linux operating system and it is for free!!! Though it is a beta version but still it would be exciting to have a look at the google's operating system.

google has given its own operating system called as Google OS Live(0.4.207 beta).
1. Insert the CD for installing the Google OS Live.
2. Restart the computer and go to bios settings by pressing F8 while restarting and change boot sequence to DVD/CD rom.
3. Press F2 to choose the language
4. Then Google launches the OS.
5. Select for Live Installer if you want to install desktop on your Hard Disk
6. Type password as root and follow the instructions.
7. Make sure that you are saving the password for User and Root.

Problem!!! i have downloaded the Google Operating System from the internet and i have wrote that whole file on the cd. When i started with the installation, then one blank screen appeared on my monitor. I thought it would be getting ready but it is moving further at all. Why it has been stuck there ? I have tries it many time but got the same results.

I think the problem would be with the file that you have downloaded on your computer. Or it may also happen that the file may have been corrupted. It can happen from your computer also. Something would have been gone wrong while writing it on the cd. Anyway try installing the new copy form the following link and then try the same.google.com

Google Chrome OS is designed by Google to work exclusively with web applications and it is an open source operating system. It was Announced on July 7, 2009 that Chrome OS will be available by the end of 2010. It is basically based on linux and will run only on specific hardwares. This Operating system is made specially for those users who frequently uses the internet.
